I have been a big fan of Will Smith ever since ‘Fresh Prince of Bel Air’ aired on television. Yes, I know that ages me. I vividly remember going to the cinema to see ‘Men in Black.’ My father, brother and I loved that movie and its quirky humour. That wasn’t the last good movie by Will Smith, but it was the one that made the most impact on me.
I enjoy the song ‘Gettin’ Jiggy with it’ for its overall happiness and joyful spirit. It brings back memories of spending time with my friends, good memories. I also love the video.
Why did I choose this song for this week’s prompt ‘sports?’ As you may have guessed, I hate sports and everything to do with it. So when I saw this song had some slight mentions of sports in it, I figured it would be good enough. I don’t watch football, nor the Olympics, so I have few associations with sports music. This will have to do!
